Dr. Rafemoyo holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) (Commonwealth University); Masters Degree in Administration (MBA) UZ. He is a Chartered Engineer and holder of the British Engineering Council Certificate in Electrical Engineering and is a Fellow of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers. Dr. Rafemoyo was the former Group Chief Executive Officer of ZESA Holdings and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe.
He sits on various boards including ZESA; FMC; AVM and is a Councilor at Midlands State University of Applied Science.
Allan is a seasoned Banker having joined the financial services sector in 2003. He holds a MSc in Banking & Financial Services with National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He has acquired vast experience in the microfinance industry and prior to joining FMC, he was a Branch Manager at FBC Bank.
Dr Mavhunga is an entrepreneur and is a guru in the financial and microfinance field with a career spanning over 34 years in various senior management positions in both local and regional financial institutions. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the Commonwealth University; BSC Economics Honours Degree; various post graduate diplomas including Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from University of Natal where he was inducted into the Golden Key International Society for academic excellence in 2002. He has completed several Executive Development courses at Oxford University’s SAID Business School and is an Oxford Alumnus.
He is the founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of FMC Finance Holdings, a Pan-African financial services company which has operations in Zimbabwe (where it is a leading microfinance institution) and in Zambia.
Dr Mavhunga has won numerous accolades and gained local and regional recognition for his business expertise including; Businessman of the Year 2016 – Second Runner-up – Megafest; IODZ Director of the Year 2016 Merit Award – Large and Listed Company; Businessman of the Year 2016 – First Runner-up – Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC); Businessman of the Year 2017 – Northern Region – Megafest; National Businessman of the Year 2017 – Megafest; Businessman of the Year 2018 – Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) Mashonaland Region; Leader in Microfinance 2018 – Megafest; National Businessman of the Year 2018 – Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC); National Businessman of the Year 2018 – Zimbabwe Business Awards Council; Most Outstanding Businessman of the Year 2018 – Megafest – Northern Region; Top 5 Outstanding Businessman of the Year – Megafest.
Jackie qualified as a chartered accountant in South Africa, in 2009. She started her consulting practice while living in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania the following year before relocating to her home country Zimbabwe.
She is also a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Financial Management from the University of South Africa. Prior to setting up the advisory services company, Jackie trained with Ernst & Young and worked for the firm for 7 years in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Before joining Ernst & Young, Jackie worked in Asset Management, Construction and Manufacturing industries over a 7-year period. Jackie sits on the boards of a micro finance institution in both Zimbabwe and Zambia as an independent non-executive director including a Zimbabwean listed quick service restaurant entity with a Pan African foot print. Jackie is involved with, organizations that work with young upcoming entrepreneurs.
In her professional work Jackie is involved in advisory, risk, taxation and accounting including financial reporting related services for a range of clients from listed to SMEs in recent years her organisation has diversified into technology. The organisation is involved in leveraging technology in simplifying business financial reporting and enterprise content management. Her organisation serves a client base of over 400 companies.
Mrs. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) French and Private Law Major (Cape Town) and Master of Law (LLM) with Temple University (Beasley School of Law Philadelphia, Pennyslvania). She is a Board Member of IODZ; Zimbabwe Women’s Bureau; Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association; National Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment and Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, Harare Branch Executive. She is admitted Advocate of the Supreme Court of Cape Town South Africa.
She has vast managerial and legal experience and is a founding Partner of Phillips Law.
